It is well known that experts suggest adults get eight hours of sleep a night.

Yes, we are all different and lead different lives so this isn’t always easy.

Sleep, or a lack of it can affect us in different ways.

To assess your sleep deficit, ask yourself the following:

  • Am I often tired?
  • Is my sleep uninterrupted during the night?
  • Do I wake up feeling refreshed.
  • Do I get drowsy whilst driving or watching TV later in the day?
  • Am I relying on caffeine to get me through the day?
